VertOff-beat and sort of fucked up Pop songs with a mid-range British accent. It sounds like the music is made mostly on computers, sythesizers and samplers. An almost dancable beat backs most of the songs, layered with humor that isn't particularly funny but fits well with the sense of humor put into sampling and melodies. It might remind me of Pulp if the sexiness was replaced with a quirky disinterest and the dancability was replaced with more of a junk-yard-circus-feeling sample world and the energetic attitude was replaced with a weird old man who makes gadgets in the garage. There are several strange ballad-type numbers which break up the jittery faster ones. It's what the Postal Service would sound like if they weren't sappy, poor word-smiths and sucky. I think this has potential. :: Vert: Some Beans & An Octopus - Sonig/A-Musik
