Omar Rodriguez Lopez: Se Dice Bisonte, No Bufalo

lopezlopezSo in high school I had a couple of At the Drive In records and though they were nice but nothing I was bananas about. I listened to Relationship of Command recently to find it a bit of a one trick pony. I was pretty skeptical to begin with, considering Mars Volta was so poo poo crappy. If you are expecting either of those bands here, you are going to be disappointed, or happy depending on what you thought of them. There is much more variety and a lot of creativity. The production is detailed, but not overdone. This type of music, a certain spaced out Carlos Santana remixed by Giorgio Moroder, is great and probably most suited to Lopez’s abilities, though it will probably be the least recognized of all of his works :: Omar Rodriguez Lopez: Se Dice Bisonte, No Bufalo - Gold Standard Laboratories/Cargo. --- Ashton Montrone
